RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Rapid City Solid Waste Division needs your help in naming its newest garbage truck.
The Solid Waste Division says to message them on Facebook or Instagram with your name suggestions.
The current truck names are:
- Sir Dumps a Lot
- Cindersmella
- Mt. Trashmore
- Obi One Can Only
- Litter Gitter
- Cruncher the Muncher
- Smashasaurus
- Brutus
- Oscar
Suggestions for the garbage truck can be submitted until May 22. The Solid Waste Division will then hold a public online voting on their Facebook and Instagram on the top ten names, where one winner will be selected on June 1.
The winner will also receive a prize bag from the Solid Waste Division.
