The owner of a garbage disposal company was fatally crushed by one of his trucks Wednesday morning, police said.

Kenneth Buratti, 67, from Piscataway, was killed at his company in Middlesex while performing work on a garbage collection truck, the Middlesex Police said in a statement. Buratti was working on the hydraulic arm of the truck when it pinned him down, police said.

An employee of Bridgewater Disposal called 911, but Buratti was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Officials from United States Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) responded to the incident, local police said.
